About The Event

RAD Arts Foundation Proudly Presents

Of Roots and Colors: Iranian Traditional and Folklore Music

This captivating concert series brings together four exceptional musicians—Roxana Sarrafi (Vocal), Sirvan Manhoobi (Oud), Moslem Alipour (Kamancheh), Behfar Bahadoran (Tar), and Reza Sarlak (Tombak) —to celebrate the rich diversity of Iranian music.

The performance is presented in two unique parts:

• The first part offers a fresh perspective on Iranian traditional music, reinterpreting old Tasnifs and the Radif within the framework of Dastgah music.

• The second part highlights the vibrant folk traditions of Iran, featuring music from various ethnic regions, including Lori, Kurdish, Khorasani, Bakhtiari, and Mazandarani cultures.

Join us on this journey through the roots and colors of Iran's musical heritage, where tradition meets innovation.
